Love is a strong affection towards one another. The Bible makes us to understand in 1 John 4vs12 that; “No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and His love is perfected in us”. It is often said that love conquers all, that love is the greatest force and weapon in the universe, yes I agree. Love is the force that gives healing and life, binds souls together and whispers to us that all will be well. We can see throughout the Bible that love conquers fear, evil and hatred. But the power of love comes from it source.
Concerning wars and conflicts seen in various places, it shows that love has lost its place otherwise we won’t be seeing what we are seeing today. Though, God is slow to fight or destroy us even when we wrong or offend Him and this is how it is meant to be between us too. Let love be our weapon towards one another and not; missiles, grenades, underground mining, artillery and mortars, machine-guns, poison gas, rifles, tanks and armored vehicles, name it to attack ourselves. Let love reign so that there can be peace and harmony. Let us use this greatest weapon to save lives and properties and not war equipment to destroy lives and properties.
Jesus cares to remind us that we should live in love and maximize the use of this greatest weapon, love. Be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . – John 14vs6.
