In the beginning of creation, God made plants of various kind on the third day – Genesis 1vs12. Varieties of plants are common in our immediate environment serving various purposes mostly for food, medicines, shelter and so on. Plant produces trees though not all and it comprises of seeds, root, stem, branches, leaves and fruits. A healthy tree will yield fresh green leaves and fruits – Psalms 1vs3; “He is like a tree planted by flowing streams; it yields its fruit at the proper time, and its leaves never fall off. He succeeds in everything he attempts”. An unhealthy tree will yield poor green leaves that withers and produces false or no fruits at all.
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ, and still consistently disobey Him and follow your ways, you are like the unhealthy plant deeply rooted and yield no fruits, disapproved or unacceptable by God. Such plants shall be uprooted by God and not approved for His own – Matthew 15vs13; “And he replied, ‘Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted’”.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ and you consistently reflect His image or nature, you are like the healthy plant deeply rooted in His Word that yields approved fruits of good work. Such plant is planted by God and shall not be uprooted but accredited unto God Himself – John 15vs5-6; “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned”.
Beloved, the ones uprooted by God are those who do things contrary to the Will of God and the consequence is eternal destruction in hell, be warned and stay out of sin before it’s too late – Matthew 3vs10; “Even now the ax is laid at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire”. Now, make effort to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and to adhere to all His instructions for He’s the Way to salvation and eternal life in God’s righteous Kingdom – John 14vs6.
