In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, without Him nothing was made that had been made. In Him was life and that life was the light of men. The light shine in darkness but the darkness has not understood it. There came a man who was sent from God, his name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light, he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. He was in the world and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. He came to them which were His own but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God. John 1vs14 says that, “the Word became flesh and made His feeling among us (humans). We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only who came from the Father full of grace and truth”. Who is this Word of God? The Word of God is the Light, the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Word of God, but still many refuse to accept, believe and receive Him. Jesus Christ carries the appearance and character of God. Those who accepts Him accepts God invariably. Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God sent to take away the sin of the world. Believe it or not, we all need Jesus Christ because He is Way that leads to salvation. Some people don’t love Him rather hate Him, some can kill whosoever mentions His Name around them, some deny and reject Him for reasons best known to them but the Word of God said this Word that dwelt among men is the Way, the Truth and the Life, ‘JESUS CHRIST’ and without Him, you are not saved – John 14vs6.
