Sin is like a virus that when contacted, it corrupts the whole system and make it to develop faults. Jesus Christ was a perfect example of someone who lived a life without sin, even when the Pharisees, Sadducees and some other people tried to annoy and provoke Him, He didn’t utter a word that was sinful but answered them in a way that was good and acceptable to God.
There is something I would like you to know that if is not possible to abstain from sin, Jesus Christ wouldn’t tell us to do so. He knows that there is something in us that we are yet to discover or put into manifestation that seems as if abstaining from sin is impossible and this is self-determination, the key to overcome. Self-determination in the sense of guiding yourself from sinful deeds.
Jesus Christ implores us to abstain from sin because He knows it’s possible for us to do – ‘Be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect’ says Matthew 5vs48. For you to abstain from sin, you need self-determination in Christ Jesus – John 14vs6.
