Peace is a state of quietness, harmony and tranquility free from strife between two or more people or from war or conflict between different countries or nations. Peace is a heartfelt character or attitude that breeds or cause calmness in a place. A peacemaker is a channel link to peace and such is referred to a child of God – Matthew 5vs9; “The peacemakers are blessed, for they will be called sons of God”.
If the heart of a man is filled richly with the Word of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, such is a channel for the flow of continual peace in order to quench the stir of envy, quarrel, conflict, strife, disagreement and hatred amongst men and lights up love, forgiveness, mercy and oneness in mind – Colossians 3vs14-15; “Above all, put on love — the perfect bond of unity. And let the peace of the Messiah, to which you were also called in one body, control your hearts. Be thankful”.
My people, let us be intentional in allowing ourselves as channels of peace wherever hatred abounds, for the heart of haters breeds or invites sin of strife and murder – Proverbs 10vs12; “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses”, 1 John 3vs15; “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him”.
Finally, let us present ourselves as channels of peace were there is strife anywhere we find ourselves. Let the nature of peacemaking of Christ Jesus be a working virtue in you.
I am using this medium to urge you to let the peace of God rule your heart and mind always for without it no man shall see God – Hebrews 12vs14; “Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord”. Please, let us be channels of peace where there is strife for the salvation of our souls and others and let us be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. . .- John 14vs6.
