From Matthew 15vs10-11, it says; “Then he called the crowd to Him and said, ‘Listen and understand. What defiles a person is not what goes into the mouth; it is what comes out of the mouth that defiles a person’”. Jesus Christ made it clear that what goes into the mouth of a man mostly does not defile him but those things that comes out of his mouth from the heart defiles him like; evil thought and imaginations, anger, adultery, lies, fornication and so on. Immediately you allow these things in the midst of your heart, your heart becomes defiled thereby making you defiled even though you are yet to carry out the action and that is why the Bible says guide your heart with all diligence. The undefiled are those who resist temptations of lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life just as Jesus Christ said that we should let nothing defile us, neither sin nor pleasures of the world, that we should guide our heart very well and make it not defiled – John 14vs6.
