A channel is a medium or source point through which things of great importance to us are gotten. The Bible in Matthew 15vs29-31 tells us of the great multitude seeking various things of great importance for themselves – some seeking healing, some deliverance, sight, strength, hope, salvation etc. and the multitude were able to acquire all their heart desires because they sought all these from the right Channel, Jesus Christ. I mean Jesus Christ was the channel through which all they required was given to them and without Him they wouldn’t have been able to get them. Now that Christ is no longer physically present on earth again, He expects His followers, believers to be of the same channels through which people around them can achieve what are of great importance to them. One of the major heart desires of many people is the strength at every point to live over their weaknesses. Many people due to their constant challenges have lost the strength to keep fighting and today they live in total defeat to their weaknesses. As believers, we are to be channels in this manner, I mean of strength where there is weakness and not the make others to live in their weaknesses or justify their weaknesses the more.
Be reminded again today that this is another expectation from Christ to all who wants claims to be His followers –John 14vs6.
