Jesus Christ, throughout His time on earth, was a channel to the public. Through Him, thousands of souls received things of great importance to their lives. The Bible tells us in Matthew 15vs29-31 that a great crowd with various needs came to Jesus Christ to seek help and they all received their desires. Now that Christ had ascended to Heaven, He expects all who follow Him to be channels in the same manner as well. Be reminded that one of the major criteria to enter Heaven is holiness and anyone who lacks it will never see God – Hebrews 21vs14; “Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord”.
Holiness, which is the virtue of being completely pure and unstained by the world, is a virtue which every being who wants to see God must possess. Since many people in the world at large are lacking this very important quality, why not you be a channel through which holiness reflects in them? You can be the medium through which so many people who are live in unholiness become holy rather than becoming more unholy. To you reading this, let’s encourage a lifestyle of holiness and let it influence and encourage others to change their ways of unholiness to complete holiness. Let us be channels of holiness to sensitize others on the importance of holiness and the dangers of living unholy.
Note that it is Christ’s desire for all His own to be channels in this manner as well – John 14vs6.
