The word ‘morning’ can be interchangeably be used as early or beginning. In the course of my growth and study of life, I came to realize that life is in three stages; the morning stage, the afternoon stage and the night stage.
The MORNING STAGE of life is the stage of life beginning which I called the stage of ‘seed sowing’. This is an essential, important and critical stage of one’s life that must not be toyed or joked with because it determines the afternoon and the night. It is what you do at the morning stage of your life that determines the success of the next stages. This stage duration differs in every life because everyone has different time duration to use on earth; some long and some short. Irregardless of the time, days, weeks, months or years of anyone here on earth, these stages are still embedded (morning, afternoon and night).
The AFTERNOON STAGE of life is the stage that transits the morning stage to the night stage. This stage of life is the continuation of the first one and it is the most active stage of one’s life. It is also a stage that must not be missing in one’s life as this stage can be likened to a relay competition race of three persons where there is change of baton from one person to the last on the race. If the first person does not successfully give the baton to the second, definitely the third won’t be able to receive it which will cause them setback or deny them of their victory. The afternoon stage of one’s life is the stage to ‘water and watch’ over the good seed sown in the morning for its effective growth in order to have a good harvest in the night when he won’t be able to sow again but only to enjoy the harvest of the seed sown in the morning.
The NIGHT STAGE of one’s life is the state where one won’t be able to do other work again or to sow again other than to sit back to enjoy until death the good yield of what was sown in the morning and well taken care of in the afternoon just as Jesus Christ said in John 9vs4; “We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work”. At the stage, we are fully entering into full rest of life. It is here we need to sit down and cease from all labor and stress of life. Well, is it the most important? I would say it is less important than the afternoon, because the afternoon most times determine what the night can be, but on the other hand, I would say it is most important because that is when you prepare for your exit as ‘the end of a thing is more important than the beginning’.
Out of these stages, the morning stage of life (the beginning of life) acknowledges our real identity which is meant to move to the afternoon and finally the night stage. The morning stage of life explains better the purpose of life; the stage that brings other stages either alive or dead.
To some of us, the good appearance of God we carry in the morning is quite different from what we bear in the afternoon and likewise the night, while some still carry the good appearance across the stages of life. The Bible said God created us in His image and likeness – Genesis 1vs27; “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”, which depicts His real identity in us but before the afternoon, many have changed this image and identity to something different. I mean, they carry a different look from that God gave them in the morning. The question still remain; ‘Does your morning still resembles your afternoon of night’? If yes, good! But if no, hmmmm, there is a problem and you need to fix that.
In summary, if we don’t maintain the identity given to us by God in the early stage of life (morning) and live it all through, then it is certain that we won’t have a place with God, because we have lost His identity in us.
I pray that the identity of God in us shall move through our stages of life without default till we return back to Him in Jesus Christ name, amen.
Stay blessed and stay safe till we meet at the feet of our Saviour Jesus Christ someday – John 14vs6.
