The earth is a place full of unexpected happenings like sufferings, pains, poverty, sickness, stress, affliction, attacks and the likes which are bound to happen irrespective of man’s imperfections and uncertainties in all his ways and systems. These unexpected events are inevitable no matter how man tries to seek comfort and satisfaction.
In like manner, those who repent genuinely and give their lives to God face the same challenges and circumstances but the difference is that it is certain, expected and a pathway in God more. The phases of such experiences in the life of a believer in Christ Jesus is for building and spiritual growth maturity as you journey into the pathway of eternal glory.
My people, as true followers of Jesus Christ in obedience and commitment, in engaging, in promoting, spreading, announcing and proclaiming the gospel of light, persecution and trials are inevitable or unavoidable – Matthew 11vs12; “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been suffering violence, and the violent have been seizing it by force”. The Bible characters went through this same experiences and we also in Christ Jesus are not exempted also – Matthew 17vs 12; “But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands”.
People of God, these expected persecution and trials in the hands of men are truly of worth in God’s sight and it is of eternal value. So, don’t be discouraged as believers in Christ Jesus when faced with such trials and persecutions instead keep the faith alive and press on till your last dying moment and I pray as we all do so in the same faith in Christ Jesus, we shall live and reign with Him in the Kingdom of God forever – John 14vs6.
