AVOID WHAT CAUSES YOU TO FALL INTO SIN
The origin of man’s sinful nature originates from the fall of man. This sinful nature of man gave room for man’s disobedience to God’s Voice and commands – Romans 6vs12; “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions”. The true cause of sin is our lustful desires which make us slavery to sin and lead us unto death – Romans 6vs23; “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
My people, I tell you the truth, whatever that may cause you to fall into sin be it parents, family, siblings, friends, school, job, career, pastor, wealth, name it which might be very much important to you, do yourself a favour by avoiding or cutting off from them as Jesus Christ clearly stated in Matthew 18vs8-9; “If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into fiery hell”. If you do not make any effort to do away with what makes you fall into sin, it implies you are indirectly building a lasting relationship with the pit of hell. So, do everything possible in Christ Jesus to prevent whatever that causes you to sin so that you can be seen to be fit for the Kingdom of God when Jesus Christ shall return to redeem His people – John14vs6.
