Hatred is an intense emotional dislike or extreme aversion towards something or someone. It is a feeling of one who hates another so passionately. Hatred is a medium for bitterness, jealousy, enmity, strife, quarrel, conflict, fighting, racism, anger, envy and religious indifferences.
It is a driving force behind some wicked actions people take towards another like witchcraft, killing, oppression, slander and the likes.
It is a selfish feeling or emotion that sets man against His Creator, his brethren and damages every built mutual existing relationship.
My people, hatred is sinful as it ever remains the opposite of love which is the nature of God that permits forgiveness, mercy, kindness and unity – Proverbs 10vs12; “Hatred stirs up conflicts, but love covers all offenses”.
I urge us to always say “NO” to hatred – any form of behavior, choice or thought that incurs sin which has the tendency to lead us to eternal ruin in hell but instead let us learn to quench any feeling of hatred and embrace most importantly the love of God as Christ Jesus taught us – Matthew 22vs39; “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself”.
My brothers and sisters, let love and peace rule our hearts to save our souls for the eternal glory in Christ Jesus – John 14vs6.
