Love is a nature of patience, full of kindness, devoid of envy, and full of humility. It is selfless, it doesn’t get irritated or resentful, it bears and endures indefinitely and never rejoices at ones downfall – 1 Corinthian 13vs4; “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant”.
The sinful opposition to love is hatred which is a feeling of hate towards offenders. A man who hates is fellow man is blind in his ignorance not knowing is in darkness – 1 John 2vs11; “But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and doesn’t know where he’s going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes”. A man who hates his fellow man has made himself a murderer and definitely exempt himself of God’s eternal presence – 1 John 3vs15; “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him”.
The lifestyle or habit of unconditional love in a man should be a channel passionately for the outflow of sincere love to quench hatred amongst ourselves no matter the environment we find ourselves.
My people, be a reflecting channel of the radiating love of God manifesting in you before men as light that is by showing genuine love to your offenders or mockers, showing humility and endurance in your manner of approach, displaying gentleness in speech when opposition arises, be peaceful at all times when there is misunderstanding in communication so as not to give room for unforgiveness and hatred in other to save them from darkness – 1 John 4vs20; “If anyone says, ‘I love God,’ yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For the person who does not love his brother he has seen cannot love the God he has not seen”.
My people, put on the nature of the quality of love devoid of favoritism and always make desperate effort to make everyone happy around you as well as leaving peaceful with one another – Hebrews 12vs14.
Above all, let love of Christ Jesus abide in you always and be reminded again – John 14vs6
