Hallelujah! God is indeed not looking for crowd to do His Work rather He is looking for men who are available, I mean those who are always there to respond to His call any time He calls. This I understood during one of our outreaches, having invited more than ten persons but only two showed up for the mission work. Funny enough, those I was seeing fit enough for the task didn’t show but the two I least expected to make it were the ones who made themselves available for the mission work. Looking at the few persons with such great Work, I was discouraged at first but later said to myself, ‘we can achieve it’ and to God be the glory, it was a day of testimonies afterwards. Matthew 17vs1 gave an instance; “And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves”. Why did Jesus take the trio? It was because they were always much available at His service. In other words, they were always available unlike the rest who probably might be busy with one affairs or the other. In the same Matthew 17vs2-8, while they were there with Him, their eyes were opened to see the mysteries of God.
I need to let you know this, God is not just satisfied with just your desire to do His Work rather He is very much satisfied at your availability and once you are available He reveals His mind to you. Many folks only desire to do the Work of God but never make themselves available to carry it out. Many at times we miss God’s best for ourselves because we are too busy to respond when He calls. It is not just a desire to do His Work rather being available at all times matters a lot and these are the kind of people God works with and in turn builds them to His expectations. Please, always make yourself available for God and be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . – John14vs6
