Jesus said; “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so shall His second coming be again” – Matthew 24vs37. I am certain we are familiar with this story very well how God regretted ever creating man because of the wickedness, evil, sexual immoralities and disobedience in him exhibited through his actions on the surface of the earth with no regard for God’s Word. The sins orchestrated by men were so much that God promised to destroy the earth with a flood except Noah, who found favour in the sight of God because he was unlike the rest of the people.
God instructed Noah to build an ark and instructed him to take into the Ark every living thing. Noah obeyed God, built the Ark and took into it all the animals but these sinful people refused to repent and enter the Ark despite Noah’s preaching and warning concerning the coming flood and after doing all he could that resulted futile, he entered the Ark with his family as God instructed and God shut the Ark, indicating that no more entry and exit. Then the rain started and the people thought it was rain as usual but went the other way round as they were faced with the reality of destruction. Due to the circumstance, some went to the top of mountains, some house tops for safety, some on trees but these couldn’t save them from the wrath of God. So heavy was this rain that caused destructive flood killing every living thing that was not in the Ark. Only those who were in the Ark were saved and Jesus Christ is saying again that just the way it happened in the days of Noah, so shall His coming be.
I come to tell you that Jesus Christ is the Ark of our time and anyone who is not found in Him shall be destroyed in the lake of fire that burns with brimstone just as those not found in the Ark of Noah were destroyed. This time God will not destroy unrepentant sinner with a flood but in the lake of fire. It is only those who are in this Ark, Jesus Christ that will be saved from the coming wrath of God. The people in the days of Noah died because of their refusal to repent and enter the Ark and same shall happen to anyone who refuses to repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Personal Saviour. My people if you are outside the Ark then know that your life is in great danger and be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . – John 14vs6.
