Jesus Christ describes salvation after the Judgement day in these words: “All the nations will be gathered in His presence, and He will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at His right Hand and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me’”. How will Jesus separate the sheep from the goats? And how will you know which one you are? Jesus Christ explains this further that those on the right; the sheep who fed Him when He was hungry, brought Him water when was thirsty, gave Him lodge when He had no shelter, clothed Him when He was naked, comforted Him when He was sick and checked on Him when He was imprisoned will be welcomed into His Father Kingdom. On the contrary, those on the left, goats will be cast into hell because the refused to do these.
You see, the heart of the saved is their concern for those in need in truth and in faith. Salvation is the work of Christ which also involves care for others. Every time we show care to others, it simply means we care for our salvation. Please, let us be mindful of this and be reminded also that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. . . – John 14vs6.
