Satan is a fallen angel that walked contrary to the ways of God. He’s responsible for man’s falling nature from the beginning – Genesis 3vs7.
Satan is a sinful or unclean a spirit contaminating a person in motivating an unpleasant action different from the expected by God – Mark 9vs25; “Now when Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, ‘Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again’”.
Satan by nature is an unclean spirit and a manipulator of sinful practices in man – John 8vs34; “Jesus answered them, ‘I tell you the solemn truth, everyone who practices sin is a slave of sin’”.
The identical nature of Satan is sin or uncleanness. Satan’s habit is sinful by nature. This habit enables Satan to easily access man because it is through sin he manifests his lifestyle and character in man, thereby corrupting the original nature of him.
The character of the devil is an image of the devil which are; pride, lies, murder and so on. Satanic vices or attributes corrupting man’s nature make them to have an identical nature of Satan. Jesus Christ gave us a description of Satan’s nature in John 8vs44; “You people are from your father the devil, and you want to do what your father desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies”. Jesus Christ spotted out two notable characters or natures of the devil here which are; murder and lies.
A murderer is one who takes the life of his fellow man. If the act of murder corrupts you, then you are exhibiting the identical nature of Satan. A lying tongue filled with lies devoid of truth is another identical nature of Satan. If you have a lying nature, not always speaking the truth at most times, then you portray the identical nature of Satan.
A notable identical nature of Satan very common among us is pride – Ezekiel 28vs14-19. A man obviously having pride carries this identical nature of Satan irrespective of his or her title or status.
My people, Satan the adversary is a roaring lion seeking whom he will devour – 1 Peter 3vs8; “Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour”. He does devour people when they possess his identical nature.
The aim of Satan is to corrupt you with his identical nature and take you with him to the everlasting place of torment and destruction. So, I urge you, do not give room for the devil to infect your Godly nature, and instead resist him thoroughly and save your soul for eternal salvation here and hereafter. Be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . – John 14vs6.
