JESUS CHRIST: Hello my friend! Why are you finding it hard to live the perfect life expected of you?
ME: Sir, I don’t see it indeed possible to live perfect because I am human.
JESUS CHRIST: You see, if it were not possible for you to live a perfect life, I wouldn’t have told you to do so and God won’t be expecting such from you as human. Please, read these; Matthew 5vs48; “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect”. Genesis 17vs1; “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect”.
ME: Yes, I know that you say what you know and you know what you say. Even at that, I don’t see myself living to such expectation with this flesh I bear.
JESUS CHRIST: Despite the fact that you bear the flesh, it is very possible to live perfect as expected. All you need to do is to follow the principles that result to that.
ME: What are the principles sir?
JESUS CHRIST: Get rid of the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. Submit and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit (the Comforter) that was sent to you after I left. Like what God likes for the purpose He likes it and hate what God hates for the purpose He hates it. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. Then, love your neighbor as yourself.
ME: Hmmmmm! How do I get all these done effectively?
JESUS CHRIST: See, the capacity to get it done is already built in you, all you need is to see it achievable with your self-determination in me (Jesus Christ), just as Apostle Paul said he could do all things through Me (Christ) that strengthened him.
ME: Please, help me sir!
JESUS CHRIST: Yes, I am here to help you once you are ready to help yourself. Play your part and I promise I’ll play my part in your life too.
ME: Thank You so much sir for Your empowerment.
JESUS CHRIST: You much welcome my dear. Be reminded again that salvation is not all up to God neither is it all up to you. Play your part and leave the rest for God. Hope to see you soon in the Kingdom of my Father.
ME: Thank you sir, I will play my part.
JESUS CHRIST: Very good! Please do as there is no more time to waste for delay is dangerous and bye for now.
ME: Goodbye sir and thanks for your concern sir for my salvation.
