The flesh demands are always in contradiction to the Word of God (the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life). If we live under these factors and these demands are full in us, then destruction is inevitable because they are in total conflict with the Word of God (Jesus Christ) that should richly dwell in a man.
Please, destroy the works of the flesh in you so that they don’t stop you from entering the Kingdom of God and be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. . . – John 14vs6.
