Self is the existence of man’s earthly nature which often controls his desires. Man living for himself, concerned solely or chiefly with his own interests, welfare, etc.; engrossed in self actually makes him a controller of his will and this is what I referred to as self-concentration.
Thus, self-concentration is a life controlled or dictated by the body desires or the flesh. It is the control center of the flesh whose aim is to satisfy bodily passion in response to suitability or comfortability. It responds to our sensual demands that is said to be vanity or worthless.
People of God, I urge us to cease from self-concentration and let Jesus Christ be the full Controller of our lives for the salvation of our souls and be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. . . – John 14vs6.
