The Bible says in Matthew 16vs22-23 that; “So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: ‘God forbid, Lord! This must not happen to you!’ But he turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.'” Jesus Christ didn’t call Peter Satan as a person, but his words that were contrary to God’s opinion. Jesus Christ was rebuking the satanic nature of Peter that was not in line with God’s Words. The mistake Peter made here was the fact that he was rebuking God’s Word instead of submitting to His opinion.
Any nature in you that chooses that side of man rather than God is simply satanic. Also, any nature in you that stands as an obstacle to the Will of God to be done in you is also satanic.
Once you begin to exhibit this satanic nature, you will eventually destroy yourself. Don’t negate the opinion of God for your life, so that you will not be an obstacle to your divine destiny. Be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life: no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6
