Oh my world, humans!
Have you ever said a thing and you ended up doing otherwise.
I once said; “God first in everything”.
I was happy when I said it and I remember smiling at it.
Then my first screen touch came. “God, 9 o’clock is my Bible study and prayer time”. I had said assuring as if God doesn’t know I was going to exceed 9 o’clock.
I was on social media, reading some posts and the clock passed 9 o’clock. It was 10 o’clock. “God, please 11 o’clock”, I had promised again. It was 12 o’clock and before I knew it, it was morning already.
Another day, still I hadn’t had my Bible study and prayer time. Then what happened? You want to know? I ended up saying the Lord’s prayer and I slept off.
This happens to most of us but we are not deceiving God, we are deceiving ourselves. As our enemies loses no time to plot against us, we also should lose no time as children of God to always watch and pray.
I pray God help us in this area to be consistent, watchful and prayerful in Jesus Christ Name, Amen. Be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life: no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
