Many names are unknown in the Kingdom of God because they have nothing that connects them there. Many are popular in the east, west, north and south direction but dead in the upward direction, Heaven. Always they are clouded by the amount of wealth they have in form of stocks, properties, bank accounts, academic degrees and the like. They are always busy day and night to acquire wealth and save for the future against the rainy days but have no concern about laying up treasures in Heaven. They often brag about their earthly riches and so they always feel on top of the world, but have nothing in the upward direction, Heaven.
It is not a sin to acquire necessities of life but however not at the expense of Heavenly riches (salvation). Matthew 6vs19-20 affirms; “Do not lay up treasures for yourself on earth, where moth and rust consume and thieves break in and steal but lay up for yourself treasures in Heaven, where neither moth or rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal”.
The Bibles says everything on earth will pass away. So, why exchange your soul for perishable riches that will be left behind? How much you own in Heaven should be your priority. Jesus Christ is asking you to re-evaluate your goal and make Heavenly riches your priority, for therein lies eternal life and be reminded again that this same Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life: no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
