Jesus Christ pointed out something in the Book of Matthew 24vs12 that; “. . . because of iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold”. After reading this Bible passage repeatedly, I got a fact that a time would come when the love some have for God will die because of the overwhelming nature of sin. Jesus Christ is saying invariably that towards the end of the world, the growth, fruits, seeds and harvest of sin will be so much and the love people have for God will grow cold because of the abounding nature of sin everywhere.
If you take a look at the world now, you would agree with me that mankind has been riddled with evil, there is no more fear of God in the minds of people because their love for God have waxed cold due to the abounding nature of sin – murder on the rise, sexual immoralities on the rise, misrule and misjudge increasing, rejecting God for other gods are more practiced, wickedness and evil making more fame everyday.
Even with the way sin abounds now around the world, please don’t let it penetrate into you to kill or destroy your love for God, for a time is coming where the only means for the salvation of your soul here and hereafter is the love you have for God.
Please, Keep the love you have for God always burning hot and never allow it to wax cold and continue to keep your focus on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
