Yes, anyone who dies in the Lord will live again with Him forever according to John 11vs25, and anyone who loses his life outside Jesus Christ will lose it forever – Matthew 10vs39.
Jesus Christ said God is the God of the living, yet He mentioned the name’s of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who died many years back before His birth. Just imagine why would Christ attach life to those who are dead – Matthew 22vs32? What Jesus Christ was saying is that these people are dead physically, yet they live spiritually. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were people who died in the Lord, they served God faithfully till death, they live in the fear of God and these made them alive.
Jesus Christ is saying anyone who loses his life because of Him will live again with Him, they will be brought back to life with Him again in Heaven. This is an assurance to those who only die in Christ.
Please, die in the Lord so that you can live in Him again and continue to stay focused on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
