BE A FAITHFUL SERVANT AND NOT THE UNFAITHFUL ONE

Jesus Christ emphasized something of great importance in Matthew 24vs45-51 about the faithful and the unfaithful servants. Going through the Scripture, I was able to get a clearer understanding about the two servants. I will start by saying from here that a faithful servant is one that takes proper care of what the master has kept in his care and the unfaithful servant is one who does otherwise.
The faithful servants are the loyalists, the chosen, the ones that are always conscious of what God demands of them, they assist those who are not doing the Will of God by feeding them with the necessary meat and also helping them to be prepared for the Master’s second appearance. Jesus Christ concluded that these set of people will inherit the Kingdom of His Father.
On the other hand, the unfaithful servants are the ones that live a careless life: they don’t take proper care of what is kept in charge of them, they lure other people to follow suit and also careless in preparing for the second appearance of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ then concluded here by saying that they will have their portion in the lake of fire.
Therefore for us not to be identified among the unfaithful ones, then we need to keep ourselves faithful unto the Lord and to also keep our focus on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
