The Bible says in Matthew 24vs36 that; “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only”. Jesus Christ knows what He says and says what He knows and He has made known to us in this Scripture that the day is coming which is unknown to Him but only to the Father.
As those who care to saved, we need to get ourselves ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ so that it does not meet us unexpectedly. The Bible says in Revelation 16vs15 that, “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments lest he walk naked and they see his shame”, and He further says in Luke 12vs40 that; “Be ye therefore ready also, for the Son of man comes at a hour when you think not”.
This is a warning and a signal that the second coming of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is at the corner. This is not the time to be giving room to sin and procrastinating our repentance, but a time to make it right immediately with God. Since no one knows when the time and hour will be, it is advisable to be ready and fully prepare for it by doing all that God expects of us.
As we keep ourselves ready, please let us continue to be focused on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
