In this Bible chapter, Jesus Christ was discussing with His disciples about how He would be handed over to be crucified for the redemption of human from the bondage of sin on the Passover day. While He was busy with His disciples, a woman entered and walked towards Him and poured oil on His Head. While she was doing this, His disciples were angered and they questioned her, but Jesus Christ responded saying; what she did was needed to be done as a means of preparation for His burial. As Jesus Christ needed to get prepared for His burial before His death, luckily the woman made herself available to play this role and this act made her to be remembered up till this very moment. Assuming she had disregarded this task, definitely we might have known or heard about her in this context.
My people, the story of this woman reaches us to never disregard anything good to be done to the glory of God. Therefore, whatsoever the Lord drops in your heart do for His glory, do it and it shall be remembered of you here and hereafter, and continue to stay focused on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6
