Jesus Christ in Matthew 26vs41 said to Peter, James and John that they should watch and pray so that they would not fall into temptations. Here, Jesus Christ emphasized the significance of prayer as a means to resist temptation and effectively stay aligned in God’s Will.
Prayer is our lifeline to the divine as it keeps us vigilant, watchful, alert to recognize and resist temptations before it gains a foothold. The Scripture made us to understand that things that lead people to temptations shall abound, but in the midst of temptations, we posses a powerful strategy to combat successfully which is prayer.
Prayer has all it takes to keep us from responding to temptations that often lead us into sin by not allowing us to enter into the atmosphere of such temptation. But failure to watch and pray at the right time exposes us to the dangers and problems associated with these temptations in the journey of life.
I would like us to know that the beauty of our prayers comes when we offer them correctly at the right time. Therefore, for you to successfully wage war against temptations, you must apply this potent stragey know as prayer. I mean to pray the right prayer and at the right time. Now is the right time to pray and act according for the salvation of your soul because if you fail to do so now, later may be too late and I pray God bless enrich this message in the midst of your heart in Jesus Christ name, name. Please, let us continue to be focused on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6
