Jesus Christ referred to His followers as lights of the world and as lights, they are expected to shine to displace every form of darkness. During the time of Jesus Christ when He was on earth, He was Light indeed and no darkness could comprehend Him – John 1vs5.
In Mark 3, Jesus Christ used the light in Him to bring others close to God and till He was killed, darkness couldn’t displace this light. As people looking forward to seeing ourselves someday in God’s Kingdom, we are to follow the steps of Christ Jesus by not allowing any form of darkness to displace or destroy the Light in us.
My people, please know this that there is every tendency that the light in you may die or be displaced by darkness if you permit sin in your life just as it did in the life of Judas Iscariot, the betrayer of Jesus Christ. His love for money which is a sin made the light of God in him to be displaced.
God wants us to walk as children of Light and to let others benefit from it in words and deeds. Always be light to the glory of God and never allow the light in you be replaced with darkness. I pray this words of encouragement stay blessed in you forever and ever in Jesus Christ name, amen.
Be a light and let nothing kill the light in you and as you do, please keep your focus on this same Jesus Christ the Way, the Truth and the Life: for no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
