Mark 7vs24-30 shows us how a humble response is better than harsh words. Reading through this Bible passage, I was able to figure out that the Gentile woman whose daughter was possessed with a demon didn’t pick at the content of the Words of Jesus Christ when He said that the good that were meant for the children (Jews) should not be given to the dogs (Gentiles). Yes, the woman didn’t pick at the content of Jesus’ Words but responded humbly by saying that even the dogs eat from the children leftovers and to this, Jesus Christ said to her based on her response that she should go for her daughter had been made well. Behold, it was exactly the way Jesus Christ said it.
My people, humble responses may give to you beyond your expectations. I mean no matter how someone put words before you, please be humble in your responses most especially when the person has in custody your needs. Assuming the woman responded harshly to Jesus Christ, that might have caused her not to receive that she got from Jesus Christ.
Let’s emulate the nature of responding to people in a humble manner because it may take us to a height beyond our expectations in life. I pray God bless His Words in the midst of our hearts in Jesus Christ name, amen. As you key in to this, please continue to stay focused on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
