What is more important? To have a good start to life or a good ending? Obviously, the end is more important than the beginning. In the Bible, we read some people who had every potential for a successful end finished up as failures. Though they started well but along the line, they missed their way with God. We have one of the likes of this biblical characters – Judas Iscariot, who was one of Jesus’ disciples that walked closely with Him, received His direct teachings, performed miracles and his name was reckoned with Jesus Christ but failed at the very end.
This shows that once saved is not forever saved. What you do with your life at the beginning is not as much important at the end. No matter what you are doing for God in the present, be careful not to mess everything up at the end. That’s why the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10vs12 that; “Let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall”.
Your salvation is not guaranteed at the beginning as much as at the end. ‘Once you’re saved you are forever saved’, rests on the condition that when death or the second coming of Christ comes, you are caught in that manner and nature of Christ.
Always know that the ending is better the beginning as it’s the complete justification of the beginning; and it’s everlasting. I pray the Lord bless this message in the midst of our hearts in Jesus Christ name, amen. Please keep this message at heart and let us continue to be focused on this same Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6
