The word defiled means impure, corrupt, unclean or desecrate. Jesus Christ said in m Mark 7; “What comes out of a man is what makes him unclean. For from within out of men’s hearts comes evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, envy, slander, arrogance and so on. All these evils comes inside and make a man unclean”. It’s said that an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. If the devil finds an empty heart which is not spiritually busy, he makes such his dwelling. The only way to guide your heart from being defiled by all these listed according to Jesus Christ is to always fill it with God’s Words.
Note, your heart needs to be fixed always on God, else you will be misled by the devil. Purity lies in the heart of a man, so does righteousness, holiness, faithfulness and the like. If we always guide our hearts diligently with God’s Words, then we will not be defiled in any form or baited by the devil.
Please, guide your heart with the Words of God not to be defiled or be a dwelling place for the devil. I pray God bless His Words in the midst of our hearts in Jesus Christ name, amen. As you do, continue to keep your focus on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
