DON’T BE A HYPOCRITE LIKE THE PHARISEES AND TEACHERS OF THE LAW – JESUS CHRIST WARNS

In Matthew 23vs14-39, Jesus Christ was saying that the teachers of the law and the Pharisees do preach but they don’t do or abide to what they preach. Looking at the attitudes of the teachers of the law and the Pharisees, Jesus Christ concluded by calling them hypocrites.
Then, who is a hypocrite? A hypocrite is a person who pretends to hold beliefs of whose actions are not consistent with his or her claims and beliefs. Jesus Christ knowing fully well how destructive this attitude called hypocrisy could be, then warned us to beware because it can hinder our relationship with God. If it is any kind of life, hypocrisy is a bad one to live. Hypocrisy makes one to live a double standard life and also make you think you are beyond correction.
Finally, hypocrisy destroys the hypocrite and it damages many that are contaminated by it. Please. beware of the nature of hypocrisy as Jesus Christ implores us and let us continue to stay focused on this same Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
