Mark 9vs35 says; “And He sat down and called the twelve and said unto them, if any man desire to be first, the same be last of all and servant of all. Just as the Bible also says in James 4vs10 that; “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and He shall lift you up”. If you want to be first, Jesus Christ says, it is not about being ahead of others or above them, it is about wanting to serve everyone.
Jesus Christ said if you want to be at the top, then serve others. It also mean to put the importance of others first before you. As believers, we should bear this at the back of our minds that when we serve others, it shows we carry the resemblance of Christ Jesus.
Let’s live to serve others irrespective of who they are to the glory of God because this indeed carries the breathe of your successful growth and leadership. I pray God bless this message in the midst of our hearts in Jesus Christ name, amen. As we keep this to act, let us continue to keep our focus on this same Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
