One of the Bible passages I love reading is the parable of the ten virgins. It reminds me of many things whenever I read through it. I would always wonder how ten virgins on a journey to see the bridegroom ended up to be five. To this, Jesus Christ called the five who entered with the bridegroom to be the wise because they were fully prepared by taking extra oil with them in case the bridegroom arrives late and they were also self-encouraged to go on the journey no matter what they might encounter or face. It was in these areas the other five virgins failed and Jesus Christ called them the unwise virgins.
As believers, we need to be prepared, I mean fully and self-encouraged at the second coming of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Yes, let us be fully prepared and be self-encouraged as we uphold right way of thinking, acting and living. I pray God bless this message in the midst of our hearts in the name of Jesus Christ name, amen. As we do, let us be focused on this same Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
