FAITH – OUR WEAPON AGAINST FEAR
Today, many live in fear of the future – I mean in the fear of sickness, death, poverty, economic meltdown, failure, depression, war and so on. Since the thoughts of the future brings fear, the Bible gives us an antidote to overcome it completely which is total faith in God – Hebrews 10vs38; “But My righteous one will live by faith….”
We are in the last days and nothing else can preserve us or keep us steady in our walk with God except absolute faith in Him. Our financial capacity, skills, qualifications, strength for war cannot help us to overcome the fear of tomorrow except faith in the Word of God through Christ Jesus – I mean acting on the Word of God as instructed by Jesus Christ. So, when fear starts speaking poverty, attack, death, sickness and the like, you act on the Word of God that says; ‘No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper’, ‘I shall live and not die to declare the goodness of God in the land of the Iiving’, ‘by His stripes I’m healed’ and so on.
I want you to know that faith is our only weapon to successfully overcome the grip of fear, because the moment we exercise faith in God’s Word, fear is destroyed and the future becomes bright, glorious and hopeful in Christ Jesus. Praise God!
