The Holy Spirit is our guide to be who God wants us to be and once He is void in us, then we can never live in the expectations of God for our lives. This is why Jesus Christ promised to send us the Comforter, the Holy Sprit to be with us as He would teach us all we need to to live to God’s expectations.
I want us to know that without the presence of the Holy Spirit in us, we become vulnerable for the devil to manipulate. Yes, sin irritates the Holy Spirit and that’s why He can not dwell in anyone who admires sin. When we admire sinful life, we invariably shut the presence of the Holy Spirit out of our lives, thereby giving room for the devil to dwell and operate destructively in our lives.
To this vein, we must be careful not to grieve the Holy Spirit through sin, so that we don’t miss out in the leading of God for our lives. As we keep to this consciousness in us, let us also keep our steadfast focus on this same Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
