Every human being on earth has being assigned to serve a purpose, and this lead to the lesson to learn from the fig tree in the Book of Matthew 21vs18-19 which says; “Now in the morning as He returned into the city, he hungered. And when He saw a fig tree in the way, He came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away”. Though the fig tree was still seen to be occupying space and standing but standing dead because it has been disconnected from its basic need for survival. Why? Because it didn’t produce at the time needed for it to produce fruits.
So also, we have this applicable to humans – as some have been disconnected from their basic need for survival and now like the fig tree talked about here – I mean they are living and walking dead. Anyone who doesn’t meet God’s needs and expectations at every moment expected may be disconnected from the basic need for survival.
In order for you not to be like the fig tree – I mean existing like a living dead, you need to respond to God’s needs and expectations as expected. Praise God! I am using this medium to urge everyone not to exist like a living dead – a lesson to learn from the fig tree. As we do, let us continue to keep out consistent steadfast on this same Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
