A weakness is a negative inadequate quality of someone. Also, it can be one’s flaws, defects or hole such as anger, pride, jealousy, lust, arrogance, disobedience, and the like. Many at times, we overlook these vices in us even with the knowledge of their potentials to destroy us and possibly those around us.
Let’s take Judas Iscariot as a case a study. He had this flaw spotted in him; ‘love of money’. This could be said to be a weakness that he had lived with for long, probably he knew about it or one or two persons had his attention to it but, maybe left unchecked. Though he was a disciple of Jesus Christ accorded with great honour but was rubbished to the ground because of his weakness; ‘love for money’. Because of his weakness his glorious destiny was destroyed, as he succeeded in betraying Jesus Christ.
What is your weakness? Do you still celebrate it? It may seems enjoyable for you now but it will eventually rob you of your glorious destiny if you leave it unchecked. Please, take care of your weakness so it does not destroy you and others along and as you do, please keep a steady focus on this same Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life that: no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6
