DECEPTION KILLS AND DESTROYS, STAY AWAY FROM IT.

In Mark 14vs16-21, there is something crucial I would like to unveil which we all need to know at such a time as this. The Bible text above talks about how Jesus Christ revealed to His disciples who would betray Him when there were at the Passover with Him. Judas Iscariot knowing fully well that he was the betrayer, didn’t open up, pretending all was well and even accepted the Passover meal from Jesus Christ which escalated the issue.
After reading through this Bible passage, I realized that Judas Iscariot was deceptive. Assuming he opened up when Jesus Christ said it and also the other disciples were deliberating on it among themselves, he might have escaped the self-destruction he brought upon himself. Before I move further, talking more about deception, I would like to say that; deception is the act of deliberately misleading someone or making them believe something that is not true, often to gain advantage or avoid consequences.
If you observe the world today, this nature has become ubiquitous. We witness and hear of this both within and from afar. Many have killed themselves, marriages destroyed, suicide committed, churches destroyed and amongst others because of this nature called deception. This nature can be curbed when we spill out the beans whenever something is eating us up not by putting on a smiling face but to bring God into the scene and even bring people into the issue that can be of help.
Deception is a poison that can kill and destroy anyone who has its nature. Please, let us live out of deception for the salvation on our souls and others. I would like you to also understand this that, you can only live without deception when you have Jesus Christ indeed in you who is the Way the Truth and the Life, no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
