It is distinct when people see you, they should be able to tell that you are a child of God through all the things you do – Exodus 23vs2; “You must not follow a crowd in doing evil things; in a lawsuit you must not offer testimony that agrees with a crowd so as to pervert justice”. If actually you want to be successful like Jesus Christ, then try to mimic the life style of Jesus Christ. Wherever Jesus Christ finds Himself, He was always different. Why? His Words were Words of truth. He was never proud, but humble. A friend of sinner is what the Bible called Him who was self-determined not to live a sinner’s life. Jesus Christ was a leader who lived by example and His followers were able to learn good things from Him.
Jesus Christ said He had finished His work even before His death. All souls He was to reach were reached, He was fulfilled in doing so within the few years He spent on earth.
As one who is to live by example, remember all eyes will be on you, people will watch whether you do what you preach. In order for you to live by example your lifestyle must depict that of one who is godly. Let there be a difference between a child of God and and an unbeliever. Live by example to stop sin. Let nobody tells you before you know you need to be like Jesus Christ, be willing to train up yourself personally. When others sin, as one who lives by godly example, put them right, never join them in doing wrong. Be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . – John 14vs6.
