DON’T MISUSE THE PULPIT

Looking at this directive Jesus Christ gave to his followers, evangelists, preachers, teachers, instructors, and the like in Matthew 10vs7; “As you go, preach this message: ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is near!’” It is high time we came to the implementation of this directive. Despite the fact that Jesus Christ knows we have different kinds of messages to preach, teach and so on, He said, we should keep them and preach this one “REPENT, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR”. It is to our own advantage as His followers, evangelists, preachers, teachers, instructors, and the like to yield to this directive.
Let us resolve our messages to that of repentance – love, peace, holiness, righteousness, Joy and above all salvation – Romans 14vs7; “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost”, 1 John 4vs7; “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God”.
Let us not use the pulpit to attack and fight one another. Let us not use the pulpit for our selfish interest and material gain. Let us not use the pulpit to condemn others. Let us not use the pulpit to mislead others. Let us not use the pulpit to indirectly populate the kingdom of Satan. Let us not use the pulpit to raise weak and idle-minded Christians. Let us not use the pulpit to breed disunity among Christian faithfuls. Let us not use the pulpit to assemble people who only have the awareness of Heaven but lack the characteristics to get there. Let us not use the pulpit to make people careless in their preparation for the Lord’s second coming.
I pray that as we take the implementation of this directive to act, we shall all finish well in Jesus Christ name, amen. Be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . – John 14vs6.
