Though the things of God are very beautiful and needful, but many people have abused the priority because of pleasures and desires of the world.
Many people come to the house of God not for God but come because of the things they want to get from God, I mean what they intend to gain and not what to do for God. What a pitiful generation that don’t love God nor care about Him but only love the beautiful and needful things from Him.
The reason why our generation can’t experience the power of God as of old is because many hearts have grown cold for God and the house of God has now turned to a business center and no longer a place to seek God; as even His messengers, Pastors, preachers, motivational speakers are only inspired by money, the instrumentalists and the choirs are only motivated by money, the members are only motivated because of material things. How can the worship bring down Heavenly presence when no one is motivated by God? ‘God give me this material thing, God give me that material thing’ is always the song of many, as we don’t care to ask what God requires of us on earth. God delight is for us to proper inasmuch as our souls proper but some people have forgotten God the Source but rather concentrate more on the things He provides.
My people, if you continue seeking only after the material and needful things from God and not God Himself, then you will end up making a mockery of yourself and that was why Jesus said in Matthew 6vs33; “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these shall be yours as well”. Seek first the Kingdom!
God at times gives you things to test you if you will shift them aside to still serve Him but we can all testify that many have wandered away from the Light because they preferred these things than God Himself. The reason why our generation is not manifesting the presence of God is because we are only seeking the material and needful things, not Him and the earlier our generation learn not to concentrate more on these things but God, the better it’s going to be for us. Hence, we will have ourselves to blame for neglecting God over His provisions and the truth of the matter is this, anyone who only seek after the things of God without seeking Him will not see Him.
In conclusion, this message is to encourage us to seek God with all our hearts and He will be faithful to fulfill His Word by giving us those things we need and how to maintain them. I pray that God will help us to seek Him diligently with all of our hearts in Jesus Name, amen. Be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . – John 14vs6.
