The word ‘indecent dressing’ simply means dressing contrary to the opinion of God – I mean dressing that still depicts ‘nakedness’. Indecent dressing is a sin before God and these immorality propagating clothes are mostly worn by the female gender and this message is strictly directed to them.
The Bible made us to understand that our body is the temple of God and that entails that it should be covered in all modesty – 1 Corinthians 3vs17; “If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple”. Do you not know that you are God’s temple and God’s spirit dwells in you? The devil through the fashion world is propagating so many sinful vices through ‘INDECENT DRESSING’, such as rape, adultery, fornication, sexual immoralities, etc. but many people of this world are blind to see it.
Indecent dresses are known to be worn by mentally disordered people on the street but now it surprises me that even the sane people of this world now celebrate and wear these rags as fashionable clothes. I feel pained anytime I see women, ladies and teenagers of my age walking on the street with under-wears luring men to sin for reasons best known to them.
Hear the warning of Jesus Christ to anyone who causes others to sin in Matthew 18vs6; “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea”.
Indecent dresses are pathway to hell and the devil is imparting more souls with his sexual immoral nature and thereby condemning them to eternal torment. Indecent dressing does not make you a world fashion trend but rather defiles and voids you of God’s nature, and God has promised to destroy anyone who destroys His temple and this also include the producers of this immoral dresses. In 1 Corinthians 3vs17, it reveals the mind of God that if anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him likewise. For God’s temple is holy, and that temple you are. Indecent dressing makes you to yield your body to sin as an instrument of unrighteousness to the devil and the wrath of God is soon coming upon all those who produce and wear these indecent clothes.
My people, the only way you can escape the wrath of God is by saying “NO” to indecent dressing and dresses. Be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . – John 14vs6.
