According to the Holy Bible, faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen – Hebrews 11vs1, and doubt simply means disbelief or lack of faith. One of the major problems eating up many people of this world is nothing but doubt. As Christians, we live by faith and not by sight, but when we doubt we make a mockery of God’s promises and His Word (Jesus Christ). This world is too wicked and evil to live in it in doubt because we can only overcome and remain alive in this world and beyond through faith in God. Doubting God kills us slowly and makes our future dead even before the future comes but faith overlooks our present situations and brings life to our future. Doubt is a sin and it contradicts our faith in God – Hebrews 11vs6; “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him”.
People of God have something that the world don’t have which is faith and this faith is life. Hebrews 10vs38 says; “But My righteous one will live by faith; and if he draws back, I have no pleasure in him”. Faith connects you to God and keeps everything that concerns you alive. To you reading this, don’t doubt your faith in God but rather doubt your doubt because it is not reliable. Faith keeps us alive here in earth and you also need faith to make the Kingdom of God. John 3vs16 says; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life”. Without believing in Jesus Christ and accepting Him, you can’t make the Kingdom of God because the power to become children of God is given to only those who believe and receive Jesus Christ – John 1vs12; “But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name”. Like I said, doubt is a sin because it conflicts the Word of God and as Christians we are not permitted to doubt. A double-minded man will not receive anything from God and such a person is likewise not fit for the kingdom of God – Revelation 21vs8; “But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death”.
My people, nobody serves or lives on this planet earth fulfilled in Christ Jesus without faith and if you think I’m talking out of point then check the lives of the great men of God in the Bible and even in our present world. Therefore, don’t doubt God’s Words because doubt hinders and limit the manifestation of God’s power. Let each day of your life, be a practical of your faith in God; ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me’ and you will see yourself becoming a faith man or a faith woman.
This message is to encourage you to be steadfast in faith and not to doubt even in the face of difficulties and challenges because our faith is our crown of life here and hereafter. Jesus cares to warn that doubters in God will not inherit His Kingdom. So keep your faith in God steadfast and be reminded again that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . – John 14vs6.
