In Exodus 25vs1-26, God asked Moses to receive some offering from the children of Israel to facilitate some structures for Himself. At verse 40 of the same chapter, God told Moses to make those things explained to him after the pattern he was shown on the mountain – Exodus 25vs40; “And see that you make them after the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain”.
To everyone God calls, He does so for a purpose as He directs on the assignment (the exact thing to do). Here, God warned Moses not to do anything contrary to what he was shown. God took time to explain these to Moses and he also expected Moses to take time in doing the exact things that were shown to him.
Yes, God has called you and He has given to you what (the exact thing to do) in your calling, it will be disappointing if you don’t do the exact thing He has sent you to do.
To many of us in the ministry, we mimic what others have done or doing rather than mimicking the exact thing God has shown us to do and this is the major reason why many fail in ministry, lack of focus on divine calling.
I know that you agree with me that the whole body can never be hands, legs, head, eyes and so on. The whole body is made up of different parts for different purposes. The moment the head starts to behave like the legs, problems start. Every part of the body is meant to stay in its precinct to function effectively for the good of the whole body.
If your precinct in ministry is healing and not prophecy, please stay within. If your precinct in ministry is to teach and not the work of miracles, please stay within. If your precinct in ministry is to interprete tongues and not discernment of spirit, please stay within and if you have multiples, please stay within the multiples – 1 Corinthians 12vs7-11; “To each person the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the benefit of all. For one person is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, and another the message of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another performance of miracles, to another prophecy, and to another discernment of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. It is one and the same Spirit, distributing as he decides to each person, who produces all these things.”
The moment a dog tries to fly like a bird, it kills itself and dies because it not patterned in such way. The moment a fish tries to live outside the water like crocodile, it dies because it is not patterned in such a way to live. Therefore, the moment you start to operate in ministry other than the pattern God has instructed you, you start dying gradually.
To all ministers of God in Christ vineyard, live within the pattern of your calling, don’t allow envy and jealousy to make you start doing someone else’s assignment and leave yours untouched or to do so much with no effectiveness on the specific ones you called to do.
To all faithful ministers in Christ Jesus, please live and operate within the pattern of your calling and I pray we all finish well and strong in Jesus Christ Name, amen – John 14vs6.
