The Book of Romans 14vs12 noted this that; “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God”. Just as the Bible passage affirmed that every body shall give detail account of his deeds or her deeds to God on the day of Judgement. Your deeds will determine where you will spend your eternity either in Heaven with God or hell, the final abode of the wicked.
Many today live their lives carelessly forgotten that one day they shall give account of how they’ve lived the life God gave them in the body. Don’t conclude that how you live your life doesn’t matter because on the day of Judgement, you shall be judged according to your lifestyle in appearance, words, actions, character and the like.
If you live your life in the circle of lies, unforgiveness, adultery, disobedience, jealousy, sexual immoralities, idolatry, just to mention a few, you will certainly received the reward of your deeds. Galatians 6vs7 says; “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”.
On the judgement day, if your account is based on sin, then you will not be fit in the Kingdom of God. Therefore repent now if you are yet to do so and accept Jesus Christ for the salvation of your soul.
Now as you read, what account will you give if Jesus Christ second coming or death catches up with you? Think about this and do the needful as required by God today, for tomorrow may be too late.
Don’t forget, Jesus Christ remains the Way, the Truth and the Life: no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
