Our Lord Jesus Christ while on earth was a Channel indeed, I mean through Him, those who were sick received healing, those who were weak received strength, those who were blind received sight, the lame were made whole, the deaf could hear again and the like – Matthew 15vs29-31. It’s Jesus Christ expectations also for all who believe and follow Him to be channels just as He was when on earth – John 14vs12. The believers community most especially the newly converts need daily supports and encouragements in order not to backslide. You can stand in the gap here, this is what being a channel is through you. Many who are down casted, disturbed and discouraged by the uncertainties of life can receive encouragements and upliftment. Through words of wisdom, you can lift the life spirit of a discouraged individual.
Do you know that your lifestyle can encourage the discouraged? Do you know that your positive responses to issues of life can encourage the discouraged? Yes, this is exactly what I want you to see in this message. We are in the days where many are getting discouraged on daily basis on different areas of life. But do you know what? You what be the channel of encouragement where there is discouragement to someone today. Please, whenever the needs calls, respond to help someone who is in need of an encouragement to the glory of God.
Be a channel of encouragement where there is discouragement and not to discourage anyone who needs to be encouraged. May the Lord always bless His Word in the midst of our hearts in Jesus Christ name, amen. Let us also continue to stay focused on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6
