Yes, Jesus Christ said we should give to Caesar what is of Caesar and to God what belongs to God, but because many of don’t understand the in-depth of this statement, we give to the devil which is very contrary to the opinion of Jesus Christ here.
I would like you to know that Caesar was not the devil and Jesus Christ would never wanted us to give to the devil, but He said give to Caesar not the devil.
Caesar was a top person in the government who manages the taxes collected from the people just as we pay taxes in our various countries to take care of the country’s affairs.
In this Bible passages – Matthew 22vs15-22, Jesus Christ said we should fulfil our civic responsibilities for mankind and also fulfil our religious responsibilities unto God. Despite the fact that the Pharisees knew the ruling system of the country but went further to ask Jesus Christ this question expecting Him to tell something contrary, but Jesus Christ said obey it for God has no problem with that.
Please, don’t misinterpreted this statement to give to the devil because all God has given you is for His glory, not for the devil and I pray God bless this message in the midst of your heart in Jesus Christ name, amen. Continue to stay focused on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
